Alfa Nero
The super-yacht Alfa Nero is one of the largest private yachts in the world and one of the most modern vessel, built in 2007 by Scheepswerf Slob Sliedrecht, Netherlands. The yacht is estimated at value of 190 million USD and is owned by the UK company Royale Oceanic, offering top quality private cruises. Alfa Nero has overall length of 81.00 m, moulded beam of 12.00 m and maximum summer draft of 4.00 m. The deadweight of the super-yacht is 482 DWT and the gross tonnage is 2,159 GRT. With such dimensions the yacht has capacity for 12 passengers with double occupancy. The vessel offers top quality accommodations for the guests with own balconies, great ocean view and own bathrooms. The super-yacht has in addition conference room, lobby, fitness, cinema, spa and hot-tube. The yacht has own 11-m pool on the aft deck, which can transform into a dance floor or helicopter cap, through a hydraulic system.
The engineering of the super-yacht is strong and reliable with large range of cruises and low fuel consumption. The main engines installed on board are two MTU 16V 595 TE70, each with power of 4,680 hp. The total output power of the engine to the propulsion system is 9,360 hp, which is enough for service speed of 15.0 knots. The maximum speed, achieved by the yacht is 21.0 kn during a speed trials. The yacht has powerful engineering, but also on board are installed Rolls-Royce stabilizers to decrease rolling and to make the cruises more comfortable.
