Al Mirquab yacht

Al Mirquab is among the largest and most expensive super-yachts of the world. The small cruise ship is owned by the Prime Minister Qatar, who ordered it in one of the top quality yards in the world. The super-yacht was built by Peters Schiffbau in their yacht-yard in Wewelsfleth, Germany. The yacht was completed and delivered in 2008 by the well-known yacht-builder and furnished by Kusch Yachts company. Definitely the builder and designers are specialized in yacht building, having great knowledges and practices building the largest cruise ships and yachts. Al Mirquab is large, spaceful and really luxury designed. The overall length of the suoer-yacht is 133.00 m, the moulded beam is 18.00 m and the maximum summer draft is 3.10 m. The deadweight of the luxury yacht is 1,440 DWT and the gross tonnage is 5,000 GRT. Such large dimensions are showing the majesty of the large yacht and its large living spaces. The super-yacht Al Mirquab has capacity for 12 guests, who will be served by 21 crew members. The yacht has total 6 staterooms for the guests, one of which is VIP with own balcony and great ocean view.
The large super-yacht is reliable and really well designed to have optimum usage of the power from the main engine. The engineering system is low consumption and environmental according to the decision of the owner. The main engines installed on board of Al Mirquab are two CAT, which has total power of 13,400 hp. Such high power is enough for the yacht to have service speed of 21.0 kn, while the maximum one is 23.0 kn. The yacht’s hull is made by steel, which additionally increase the seaworthiness and safety of operations.
