With so many shows and so little time I felt it was best to summarise them into the three that you really don’t want to miss.
Dubai International Boat Show
If you’re thinking Superyachts and the megarich then you simply cannot go past Dubai. Home to some of the wealthiest individuals in the world, the Dubai international Boat Show is the most trusted and established marine industry exhibition in the Middle East and is a showcase of yachts and boats from both local and international builders together with the latest innovations in marine equipment and accessories.
Showcasing more than 430 of the finest collection of super yachts and leisure craft from across the globe, and attracting more than 28,000 visitors in 2015, the combined mix of family entertainment and live events offers the complete visitor experience, with something for everyone.
Sydney International Boat Show
It would be una-Strayan of me to list my favourite boat shows and not include my own. The Sydney International Boat Show is the largest recreational marine event in the southern hemisphere.
It first ran in 1968 and since then has played host to over three million visitors who arrive to be entertained, educated, speak to the experts, and to be inspired by this wonderful pastime enjoyed by millions each year.

Monaco Yacht Show – The Big One!
As the title suggests, you cannot have a list of the best boat shows in the world without the Monaco International Boat Show – aka the Monaco Yacht Show making the top of the list – quite simply because it is without doubt the biggest and best boat show on the boating and show calendar each and every year
Set in the iconic Port Hercules of the Principality of Monaco since 1991, the MYS is the only place to admire, visit and purchase around 120 extraordinary one-off superyachts built by the world’s most respected shipyards.
40 new launches are unveiled in what is effectively a world premiere over the course of every Monaco Yacht Show – and 2016 will be no different.
